Serial Number Information. The label containing the serial number is located between the V of the flywheel support legs and is on the bottom side of the indoor rower. An example Model C serial number is 082203/1. The serial number represents the date the indoor rower was boxed (mm/dd/yy). The number following the slash indicates the day of the week the indoor rower was boxed.

The Model C is 12 years old with a lifetime of around 1.6 million meters. The Model D is barely used - 1000 meters. Plug the flat end (the Type A or Type C plug) of the USB cable into a USB port on your computer. Plug the square end (the Type B plug) of the USB cable into the PM, taking care to insert the plug correctly (see image below). On a PM3 or PM4, the USB cable port is on the bottom of the monitor; on a PM5 this port is on the back of the monitor.
